International Inspiration

International Inspiration inspires and enables millions of young people in countries around the world to play sport. This changes lives, opening doors to leadership, health, inclusion, excellence or simply the joy of participation.

The programme’s vision is to enrich the lives of 12 million children of all abilities in schools and communities in 20 countries through the power of high quality and inclusive physical education, sport and play.

Delivery is led by UK Sport, in partnership with the British Council and UNICEF, with the Youth Sport Trust providing expertise in the UK. The programme is already changing lives by providing opportunities for children and young people to participate in PE, sport and play activities that build their confidence, self-esteem and life skills, helping and encouraging them to realise their ambition and full potential. UK children and young people benefit by sharing PE, sport and play experiences with their peers around the world.
